Premises Plan
  • Our Premises Plans are produced to the prescribed format as determined by the licensing authority.
  • A draft copy is posted (or emailed if preferred) to the client for their approval. The client should identify any required amendments at this stage by consulting with the Licensing Authority.
  • Final copies (client and licensing authority) will be issued by recorded delivery. For quality monitoring purposes we also enclose a Client feedback form.
  • A backup copy of the Premises Plan is kept by ourselves so that in the event of a replacement being required or amendments needing to be made to the original this can be quickly and easily facilitated.

Health and Safety Risk Assessment

  • The Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 require employees to complete risk assessments.
  • The function of such an assessment is to identify potential hazards within the premises and then to determine the degree of risk presented by each. The degree of risk can be used to prioritise control measures, which will ensure the risk of injury is reduced to an acceptable level.
  • Once hazards have been identified and if not practical or cost effective to remove it, control measures are suggested.

Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) Access Survey

  • The Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) aims to end discrimination of disabled people in respect of employment, access to goods, facilities and services. Our comprehensive DDA access survey concentrates primarily on addressing the requirements of DDA to remove physical barriers by making reasonable alterations
  • Our DDA access report consists of an access survey for the premises, access survey findings, and an action plan.
  • Completing access surveys is now identified in the Code of Practice for Part 3 of the DDA as the best tool for the planned improvement of services and premises.
  • Disabled people have an estimated spending power of £40 Billion and with an ageing population in which people over 50 are more likely to have the greatest disposable income (although more likely to have impairments), it makes clear business sense to make your services and premises accessible to everyone
  • A backup copy of the access survey report will be kept by ourselves in case your original is lost or future amendments are required.
